Home Staging Project : HENGROVE

CASE STUDY : HENGROVE, BRISTOL, BS14

This home, a two bedroom 1930s terraced property was on the market for 5 months with minimal interest and no offers. Even after a price reduction potential buyers were not interested in viewing the property. The home was unoccupied and unfurnished apart from one bedroom with a minimal amount of furniture. The home had loads of potential with great-sized rooms but without staging it was impossible to gauge the amount of space or to imagine living in the space or making it your own. I did a partial staging for the client, with a focus on the living room and large master bedroom, but I added small touches to the kitchen, bathroom and hallway.

The Results

I really enjoyed this project, it felt really good to be able to transform this house into an inviting space. When the property went back on the market with it’s new look it got more viewings a week after launching than it had in the 16 weeks it was previously on the market.* And the sellers accepted an offer a week later.

*The result is also down to a change of agent! The client chose to list with the best Bristol-based agency Boardwalk, with me as their agent (for full disclosure)!
